LORNA JOHNSON
(b. 1982 London, UK)

Lorna Johnson is a visual artist who responds to aspects of heritage via her creative practice that incorporates sculptural objects, installation, assemblages, collage and photography. She is particularly interested in working with objects and materials that could be perceived as non-precious and uses these to explore associations with value. These themes are central to the research she is currently doing towards a practice-led PhD at the University of Leeds that focuses on four archaeological hoards found in Yorkshire.
