This is a series of works that explores the value placed on different materials. The Artist has photographed a piece of “fools gold” which she has then drawn over using metallic ink. Gold is deemed to be a precious and valuable metal though by working with materials that allude to gold or mimic the material, she is questioning the perceived value.
