The cool glaze of mock stone beneath the lounger is squished against her calf She’s made meaty –Overdone and past the pink.
Plunging – her pins sting in loud red, raw shrieks against the cool blue water.
She drifts into the shallow end. Where her body can boil at a gentle simpering simmer
Green.
Sipping all the while on cold water, her puffy corpse is dry and drenched inside and out.
The Parasols like puckered swim caps, flutter - mocking her in hindsight.
